Is shipping discreet?

How long does shipping take?

Shipping within the USA and Canada usually takes 1–4 business days. Orders are shipped Monday to Friday from our US distribution center. Delivery times for other countries may vary due to customs procedures.

Do I need anything else to perform the test?

Everything you need is included in the box. To prepare your sample, you will also need a few common household items:

• A milligram scale to weigh 50/30 mg
• A small funnel or a folded piece of paper to transfer the sample into the vial

What Samples can be tested? 

This test is suitable for powders and solid samples, including crystals, powders, and pressed pills/tablets.

Not suitable for liquids.

Does the MDMA test kit also work for colored pills or powder?

Absolutely! The Miraculix MDMA QTest is a versatile pill-testing kit that can also be used with coloured pills. The colour of the pill does not affect the final result.

How much material do I need for the test?

Pills: Use 50 mg (0.05 g) of your sample. For accurate results, weigh the full pill first, then crush and mix it thoroughly. Test 50 mg of this homogenized powder and the result reflects the potency of the entire pill.

Crystals / Powder:  Use 30 mg (0.03 g). Mix a larger amount well, then test a small portion. The result represents the potency of the full batch.

Does the QTest identify MDMA and show me if other compounds are present in my substance?

The big detection vial, which you use for evaluate the concentration of MDMA in the sample will not distinguish between MDA & MDMA. This means it may also turn purple when the sample contains MDA mixtures of MDA and MDMA, or other closely related substances.  Therefore we add the two additional small vials with the red and the blue lid. These allow you to first verify that your sample only contains MDMA and not MDA.

This is how your results should look: 

• The small vial with the red cap shows no color change (remains a slightly orange color).
• The small vial with the blue cap displays a noticeable color change to blue/purple.

If your substance contains MDMA (and no MDA), you can rely on the MDMA concentration result from the white-cap glass vial. If you have other color results, please find further information here.

The MDMA-QTest can also distinguish between different classes of active compounds (2CB, Amphetamines, MDMA/MDA).

Why should I pair the MDMA QTest (Advanced) with Bath Salts & Fentanyl Tests? 

The MDMA Advanced QTest is designed to confirm the presence of MDMA (and distinguish it from MDA) and estimate its concentration. However, it does not detect other substances that may be present in your sample. Compounds like “bath salts” (synthetic cathinones) or fentanyl can still be present without being identified, and may affect the overall safety of the substance. Using all three tests together gives you a more complete harm-reduction approach.

What does quantitative test mean and how does the QTest differ from “classic” reagent tests?

Our QTests are more powerful than classic reagent tests. While reagent tests detect the presence of an active ingredient in a substance, our QTests quantify it. This means they determine the concentration of active ingredients in various psychoactive substances such as ecstacy pills or MDMA crystals.

What is the shelf life of the QTest, and how should I store it? 

 Cool storage of the reagents at 36–46°F / 2–8°C, protected from direct sunlight (e.g., in a refrigerator), ensures that the consumables are shelf-stable for 6 months after production. Chilled storage is especially crucial for the two small vials, as discoloration can occur otherwise, affecting the interpretation.

Our tests are voluntarily validated according to a standardized test procedure based on the pharmaceutical method validation guideline ICH Q2(R1), which we have extended to the QTests.

Psychedelic Passage compares the results of our rapid tests with laboratory tests from Energy Control International (a long-standing drug-checking program in Spain) for identical samples and comes to convincing results:

• MDMA Q-Test Result: The at-home test indicated that there are 28 mg of MDMA for every 30 mg of crystal. This can be represented as a ratio: 28 mg MDMA / 30 mg crystals (93% MDMA content)
• MDMA Lab Test Result: The lab test indicated that 89% of a 50 mg sample of crystals contained MDMA. This means that in a 50 mg sample, 89% (or 0.89) of it is MDMA, and the remaining percentage would be other components.

The QTest where officially validated & approved for the federal drug-checking program ALIVE in the federal state of Thuringa (Germany).

The chemical structure of MDMA and MDA are really close. Therefore you will not see a difference between these compounds in the concentration result of the tests. That’s why it is really important, that you first check if your sample only contains MDMA and no MDA. You could use classical reagent tests or our MDMA advanced Kit to test this. If MDA is present in your sample, the quantitative test results are not reliable.

Statistically, the active ingredient content in ecstasy has been increasing in recent decades, while at the same time, fewer admixtures have been detected. However many active ingredients will show no color reaction with the detection reagent. Are there only such ingredients present, you will see no color result. However, the presence of a mixture of such a substance with MDMA is problematic.

MDMA is not uniformly distributed within pills! And even pills which look identically could vary tremendously in their MDMA content. To ensure accuracy, it is essential to test every single pill and homogenize the pill thoroughly by crushing and mixing them for example in a small baggy, before conducting the test.
