How long does shipping take?

Shipping within the USA and Canada usually takes 1–4 business days. Orders are shipped Monday to Friday from our US distribution center. Delivery times for other countries may vary due to customs procedures.

What sample types can be tested?

This test can be used with powders, crystals and crushed pills/tablets. For solid samples like pills or crystals, always crush and mix thoroughly before testing. This helps ensure the sample is evenly distributed, as bath salts may not be spread uniformly.

What drugs does it detect?

This test is designed to detect synthetic cathinones (“bath salts”), including many common and emerging compounds.

How does the test work?

It works by identifying a chemical feature (the keto group, C=O) that is present in all cathinones, allowing it to screen for a wide range of known and emerging substances in this group. Because some other substances also contain a keto group, this test should be used as a screening tool, not a definitive identification.

How long do results take?

Results are typically ready in 3-10 minutes.

How do I read the results?

The test produces a color change:

• A specific color indicates the presence of synthetic cathinones
• No relevant color change suggests none detected

Always compare with the color chart in the instructions for accurate interpretation and always follow the full instructions, as incorrect measurements or timing can affect results. 

Can I reuse the test?

No. Each ampoule is single-use only.

Here is a quick overview of how to perform the test. A printed copy of the detailed instructions is always included with your order.

1. Prepare: Tap the ampoule so the liquid settles at the bottom. Carefully snap it open (use an opener if possible).

2. Add sample: Add a very small amount (about a grain of sand). Avoid using too much.

3. Close & mix: Seal the ampoule and gently swirl to mix.

4. Wait: Let it sit for 3–10 minutes.

5. Read result: Compare the colour to the chart.
